Henderson LIMA Bush Bean
67 days. Bush lima will produce plump pods filled with 3 to 4 white seeds even into the heat of summer. Good for canning or freezing. Lima beans should be planted even later in the spring than bush beans because they are not as hardy. Lima beans should not be planted until well after the last frost. Lima beans also should not be planted as thickly as bush beans. Lima beans (or any beans) should not be picked when wet or dew is on the plants. Crystal White Wax Onion 95 days. Small 'silverskin onions'. Perfect for pickling whole, freezing or cooking or as a cocktail onion. Globe-shaped, white skinned bulbs with very little neck. Thinning not necessary. Use fresh or cooked. Short day variety used to produce pearl or pickling onions in latitudes above 40 degrees or full size bulbs in areas below 30 degrees. Plant in May to harvest round to slightly oval 1 to 1.5” white pearls in 90 to 120 days. Full sized medium thick flat white bulbs can be harvested in 150 to 180 days. Though it is typically assumed to be an Italian bred heirloom tomato, this tomato variety has become one of the best known tomatoes in the US.
